I'm not a fan of negative reviews, but the experience I've had with Credence has been pretty bad. Sadly I should have followed my gut and called things off early but Shane seemed like a decent person and I overlooked things that should have been red flags. I reached out to have a whole home battery backup system installed from EG4. Shane gave some suggestions and we settled on setting up my system with a mixture of EG4 inverter equipment and a battery he suggested. I know that end of last year things were pretty busy with stock and companies for these system since the tax credit was ending, bu

This is my case with CREDENCE ENERGY. I got solar panels with this company in Gainesville, FLORIDA on May 2021. Since then everything has been a very bad experience as a costumer. This panels have been working on and off since the beginning. In one of this occasions Credence Energy showed up and fixed them, that was the last time that I had contact with them. They stopped answering my calls and not answering my emails or letters since the panels stopped working again in August 2023. But still I have been making my payments for the loan already for 5 months and paying my expensive bill to the e

Shane and Credence Energy did an incredible job doing an energy assessment for us and building us a system to meet all of our energy needs. We are a couple months in and love our panels, our electric bill is almost zero, we are unaffected by neighborhood outages and Shane has continued to remain available to educate and assist us if we’ve had questions pop up. During the installation, communication was good and the crew worked from sunrise to sunset nonstop! I also loved that the owner is onsite during the installation! Thank you!

Just got my new solar power system installed and commissioned by Credence Energy. So happy to have everything up and running. It’s a good feeling to be able to make our own power and not be so reliant on the grid. We ended up with a single inverter, 2 batteries, and 22 panels with room to add more if we want. The team from Credence was professional and knowledgeable. We are glad to have worked with them and really pleased with the end results.

Shane explained everything he’s was going to do and communicated with us every step.. Did an awesome job, well recommended.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
