Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Commerce City area. Across Colorado, 83 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 83 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Commerce City area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Colorado Energy Experts is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

So far experience sucks. Failed inspection twice for electrical shuttle off for emergency purposes. Maybe my opinion will change when process gets done, we'll see.

A year or two ago, I put up a "No Soliciting, Thank You" next to our front door. The reason we did this was because solicitors would come to our door and when I politely declined their offer, they would keep coming at me. I don't want to be rude, but they wouldn't stop pressing me. Tonight a Colorado Energy Experts representative came to our front door. I politely explained to him the reason we have the sign. He said he understood--but then kept coming at me. I respect that people are out there working hard to make a living. Everybody deserves to be treated respectfully. I do too. I hope that

Sends out door-to-door people that rudely ignore "No Soliciting" signs. Update: The business' response makes it sounds like they are out to educate, but when I had asked if their services they were approaching (soliciting me with) were free, they in fact were not and were looking to sell me, thus soliciting.

Colorado Energy Experts are a great team. Every body is helping us trough to our new journey with the solar panels.

We just got our solar panels installed In our home in Lakewood. I’ve been very pleased with every aspect of working with this organization on the project. Their sales agent, Cameron Hojreh and our project manager, Makena Hogan, were both excellent to work with, executing every step as per plan with no hassle to us ! I would easily give them a five star rating overall.

Colorado Energy Experts are the real deal in the solar world. Not just some fly-by-night company that shows up at your door with promises and disappears once you sign on a dotted line, but a real, detailed, dedicated team of experts who want to offer a sustainable, cost effective, and long-term solution to your energy needs. Albert thoroughly educated me on their solutions, and I was especially impressed with their approach to using quality materials (like carbon batteries instead of fire-prone lithium) and the most efficient panels. Thanks to Albert and CEE, I’m excited to truly own my power

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
