Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in San Diego. Across California, 703 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 171 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in San Diego whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Creative Energy Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I previously posted a positive review but hopefully this takes it down as I cannot in good conscience recommend this company. While they got the job done quick that’s where it ends. Customer service is non existent no one follows up let’s you know status and it’s been 7 months and my solar still isn’t on and everybody has a different story. No one is on top of it and unless I call it’s crickets. So unless you have time to do your job and theirs I don’t recommend using them.

0 communication and haven’t been getting any service for months and no reply from anyone. I would not recommend this company and I don’t recommend you installing solar with them. UPDATE 7/28/2025 As of today I still have not been contacted by anyone. Any calls or text I have made to the people who installed my solar have gone to voicemail and I have been ghosted completely. A technician from a third party company has come out and said that the original solar installation is very faulty. I have had no running solar for months yet have been paying every month for no benefits. This company has no

I signed up with Creative Energy Solutions in September 2022, and one star is too generous for this solar company. Before ever installing my $22,000 system they left the panels sitting in my backyard for 6 months!!. Then when they finally came to install it they turned my home into a disaster zone with shoddy installation that left holes in my walls and wreaked havoc on my roof. They destroyed a portion of my roof and when they "fixed" it they just put up a piece of plywood with singles on it, not to mention the holes they put in my roof that they patched with tar and called it good. 5 Star Company You can tell they care about making sure you’re comfortable and informed before moving forward, which isn’t always the case with other companies!

Everything was easy and everyone very nice and knowledgeable. The installation was fast (only 1 day) and the workman were professional and respectful. Edit: Nestor I know you’ll see this. Although your text was brief it answered the question I wanted. Thank you

Having Creative Energy Solutions install solar to my mobile home was the best decision! Jared Davis made sure all my questions were answered from the get-go, with great patience. The install process was flawless. The team terrific. High integrity prevailed throughout. Since install, my meter runs backwards and my energy usage shows as "0". (There is a small monthly fee; SDG&E Base Service Charge of around $24.) Solar has given me peace of mind on a daily basis. Thank you Jared and Creative Energy Solutions!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
