Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

  • 5★ · around April 2026

Having no experience with this whole Solar idea, Son has been so helpful. He is very knowledgeable and very patient with my questions. He was responsive and professional. He even met me in person to show me how to use the APP and find things on the APP and verified that system was working correctly. He gave us a peace of mind. I would recommend such a fast, friendly and efficient service.

JD had great customer service skills helping through the entire process and keeping me updated. Highly recommend this reputable company if you are looking to go solar.

I had a fantastic experience working with JD and Son from Current Solar. From our first conversation to the final installation, they were professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. They took the time to explain every step of the solar process clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood my options. JD and Son were responsive, friendly, and genuinely focused on helping me get the best system for my home. I highly recommend them and OC Solar to anyone looking for quality solar solutions with exceptional customer service

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
