Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in La Jolla. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 8 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

0% rated 1–2★40%

Each mark is one company we hold in La Jolla whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Dustys Solar LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Jeff’s service was very efficient and quick. Easy to schedule and a quick quality cleaning. I gained .5kw after the panel cleaning.

Five stars for Dusty's Solar! The team did an outstanding job cleaning our solar panels, which were absolutely filthy. Jeff - the owner, was super knowledgeable and professional from start to finish. The whole operation runs seamlessly. The crew on-site was exceptionally friendly (they even tossed down my kids' wiffle balls that were stuck on the roof!). Highly recommended for residential solar cleaning, and it's great to know they service commercial buildings as well. Jeff is also a veteran so it’s great supporting veteran-owned local business. We will definitely be using them again!

Awesome service and quality of work by Jeff & Team. Really pleased with his attention to detailed. Over 400+ commercial solar panels left spotless. Adding this to our 6 month maintenance plan now. Highly recommend!!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions veteran owned, warranty, free estimate, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. La Jolla is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
