Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Massachusetts. Across Massachusetts, 101 of the 198 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 24 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I went with this company even though they had slightly higher costs because their salesperson was good, and made me think they would be good at project management throughout. But they are a salesperson and nothing else. They cannot answer technical questions and I have been disappointed at nearly every step. They do not adequately communicate the steps of the process, update you on the status of the project, or give you a realistic timeline start to finish. Do not, seriously, do not support this company.

Update in Feb 2024 from previous one star - Gabe helped me along the way to have the documents provided to National Grid and now the system is approved. Thank you Gabe for turning this around and making it happen. …

Amazing experience! 👏 Thanks to Juanita Quintero, who worked closely with us throughout this process and guided us to the very end, from approval and inspection to assembling the equipment and now turning it on and running. 🙏 Of course, it was a team effort, but all our questions and doubts were answered quickly and thoroughly. Thank you, Juanita! A thousand stars ⭐️✨⭐️✨ for you! 👏 Hilda and Orlando

I had the pleasure of working with Tim Matuszewsk at Ecoloop who help me design and install a 13.7kw system - the most efficient for my needs. From start to finish Tim and his team were incredibly responsive and communicative. My electric bill last month was $0.00!!! I would highly recommend working with them.

Juanita and Santiago did a great job explaining everything about solar energy to me; I'm very satisfied. I recommend them!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
