Its one and two star share is 23 points above the typical installer in Massachusetts. Across Massachusetts, 26 of the 198 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 12 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Last fall we were visited by a number of employees of Elite Energy. They are contractors for Sunnova out of CT. The people seemed well prepared, professional and knowledgeable. I was presented with proposal which I accepted. Later upon further visit I was told I needed a new electrical box and the price was changed to reflect this. I agreed. When the installers arrived, I was told a new box was not necessary and I contacted the office about the adjustment. After several phone calls telling me an adjustment would be made, they stop answering my calls. I contacted Sunnova (the main office)in Con

RUN!! Ended up filing with the AG office. If I could give negative stars I would. Our entire project has been a nightmare (horrible communication, install, town not being informed, taking the panels off, inspections, more electrical work, panels back up, more inspections and they still don't work) getting close to a year now since it began and the panels are still not operational. Been trying to get in touch with ANYONE from the company, including the CT office for the whole month of March with no responses. Heard from one person for a week, now that person is ghosting me since March 15th. I f

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
