Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in the Pittsburgh area. Across Pennsylvania, 72 of the 146 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 3 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We recently engaged the services of Envinity to design, permit and install a custom solar panel installation. From the very start Envinity's Team provided exceptional service and helped us determine the best system that would fit our needs. They were able to provide us with a series of options to choose from, analyzing our roof and nearby tree cover using drone photogrammetry, to determine the optimal panel configuration. From there they handled the permitting, installation and guided us through to Permission to Operate our system. Our system has been operation for several months now and has b

Envinity kept me aware of progress toward actual installation, which got delayed a few weeks due to snow conditions this winter. But once the date arrived, the actual installation went quickly and highly professionally. We have 28 panels installed and inspected. The actual installation was completed in 4 days! The entire crew was friendly but stayed on task. I am a pleased advocate for this team!

We had Envinity install a 4kW array for us in 2019. The installation team was great and communication was very smooth during the whole process (and when I had questions 2 years later). The system has been running without any hiccups at all in the 2 years since. If you're thinking of getting solar they're a great option.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“and B-Corp, to create multiple solar financing options. 1. Solar or Solar + Storage Loan:…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
