Its one and two star share is 5 points below the typical installer in Albuquerque. Across New Mexico, 44 of the 65 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 33 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

After contacting several other EV charging station installers who failed to follow through, I found Experienced Solar on PNM's list of approved EV charging station installers. The team quickly scheduled an inspection and provided me with a quote. Several days have passed, and my charging station has been installed and approved by the building department. The team also handled drafting my application for available PNM rebates, and the documents have been submitted. I found Experienced Solar to be very responsive and professional. I appreciate the service provided by Experienced Solar and thank

Experienced Solar installed an EV charger in my house. They did a great job fitting a current hungry 50 amp charger into my existing house breaker box. Got the job done quickly and filed paperwork with my utility company for me to get a rebate. Great work! I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend experienced solar for solar panel and EV charger installation. They walked me through the financing and rebate processes and the installations went smoothly. They are fast and professional. I always get nervous having folks do anything at my house because I don’t want my dogs to get out of the back yard, but Mike and Brandon were really mindful of our pets. A year and a half later I am having no issues with my car charger or the solar. I have to say I’m feeling pretty good not having to put gas in the tank right now!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“come with a minimum of a 10 year warranty and solar electric modules typically…”

  • Free estimate

“you get from a solar system. Our free consultation includes analyzing your electric bill…”

  • Years in business

“after they are installed. Let us put more than 20 years of expertise to work for you, to…”

  • Licensed

“NM Experienced Solar is a licensed electrical contractor, specializing…”

Its website also mentions established, bonded, insured and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
