The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 62 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We chose Poulin Solar Pro to install our solar because they really sold us on their customer service. It seemed like they would take care of us if anything went wrong with our solar. Well when 3G was phased out, their inverter communication system needed updating. They sent out an email stating that their customers can go through them to replace the modem. I have emailed Steve Poulin several times since that phase out and he has completely ghosted me. I recommend just going through a good honest electrician rather than these people. I am so disappointed; I really thought they had my back.

I wrote the first check to SolarPros on July 15, 2024. Here we are 9 months later and I still don't have an operational system. My advice: go somewhere else for your solar project. It's been a miserable experience - no communication, delays that I suspect are because SolarPros didn't know how to do project elements, and probably some out-and-out lies. I don't care what garbage excuses get tossed against the walls, 9 months and still no system is inexcuseable. The ONLY reason they get 1 star is for the contract crew (not SolarPro) did an excellent job doing the actual installation (after 7 mont

I have a new house with a Square D breaker box. Solar Pro's system that was just in stalled does not work with the up to code AFCI breakers in my house. My fridgerator and washing machine trip the AFCI daily or more when the solar system is on, but don't ever trip when the solar system is off. Solar Pro neither warned me of the risk of problems after their site visit, nor took any responsibility for the system not working with my house. They even suggested multiple times that I downgrade my breakers so the system would work, making my system not up to code. The sale representative, Genaro, was

Years ago I had solar panels installed for my house. The process was really nice and I'm glad that Poulin has such a comprehensive warranty for the inverter. That is because the inverter broke several years after install. However, this is where the issues started. It took a full month of calling them and being ignored to get scheduled to replace the inverter. This included being told that I'd be contacted within 24 hours before being ghosted again. It was only after I started calling daily that they gave me the personal number of their installer. He actually then took on the role of communicat

I had the pleasure of working with Jake from Poulin Solar. I wanted to install a solar battery since I already have solar panels. Due to faulty electrical wiring that was installed when my home was built 30 years ago, the battery installation was going to be a big challenge. Due to Jake's knowledge and diligence, I will be able to have a solar battery. Also, Jake found a "hot" electrical connection that had been left behind when my defunct hot tub was removed. Jake informed me that if anyone or any other living thing had touched the wire, they would have been killed. Jake potentially saved me,

Jacob was courteous and respectful while troubleshooting my inverter. He made several visits in the process and was always optimistic. I believe he should be regarded as a valued, 5 star employee!

Jake did an incredible job today switching out 2 micro inverters because 2 of my solar panels were not working. He provided education on how the system works. Excellent job !!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
