Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 8 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I recently had the pleasure of working with the team at Focus Solar Energy Inc. for the installation of solar panels on my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire experience. From start to finish, the team demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail. What truly stood out was how prompt and efficient the entire process was. Every appointment was met on time, and the installation was completed exactly as scheduled, with no delays or issues. The team made what could have been a stressful project feel incredibly smooth and pleasant. Commun

I have been a skeptic of solar for many years. But our experience with Focus Solar , Brian and Team was exceptional. Brian spent extra time with my wife and I explaining all options , benefits ect . They installed our system in one day . Up and running perfectly, and was inspected quickly. Thank you again Brian and all the Team at Focus Solar.

We recently had our solar installed and Brian was the contractor. He was very knowledgeable, for some reason our breaker kept tripping but he figured it out and fixed it. He did a very clean job on the install. I highly recommend Brian!

What reviewers keep mentioning

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Marysville is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
