Currently awaiting install of my tracker. Installation of the footer and conduit was completed as expected in late summer of 2024 with a return date in February to install the panels and tracker. I questioned the winter installation due to living in upstate New York, but it was promised that would not be a problem. February came and went and I was promised installation in May or June, June came and went and I was promised late September October we we are now in October and I am told maybe January or February. As tax credits are expiring at the end of the year, I’m unhappy that the installation

Previous owners of our home bought solar from installer GMI. Since then, GMI has been sued so many times, the name has changed to SunTrackerUSA to hide all the poor reviews acquired. We learned quickly upon move in that Glenn's business tactics were not to be trusted & he became outraged when we refused his expensive (yet optional) system Monitoring, in addition Maintenance Services. Mysteriously, Glenn would warn that in order to follow the sun throughout the day it required Internet connection; however, it would eventually malfunction & require repair, which would then take him months to per

They lie and Glenn can't schedule any work properly 1/23 signed agreement gave down payment, 2/23 concrete poured for footing more money given, 5/23 meter socket put in, 10/23 nothing more has been done. I have called a lot to no response or I will get back to you, and he never does. I was told 30 days after concrete was poured that everything would be done, then I was told 6 weeks and now its been 8 months I already gave the thieves $30,000 so I'm stuck

In January of 2022, we ordered a solar tracker system and battery storage from GM Industries. The total cost of the contract was $110,949. The project required the removal of many trees on our property; this was done by our regular tree service in March of 2021 at an additional cost of $17,000. Fairly quickly, in April 2022, the concrete footing was installed, along with a trench to the house and some electrical boxes outside and inside the house. It was 32 months later that progress resumed. Several times in the interim, installation dates had been promised, but nothing happened, leaving us a

I have had a solar system installed for a number of years now which was installed GMI out of Tolland Ct. The system and service has been great and I look forward to many more years of excellence and dedication from this company. If your looking for a solar company that is constantly on top of the latest innovations in this industry ( things change every year ) Look no further. Thanks to Glenn and his team for a great system.

GM Industries is a cut above in the solar industry. His technology and invocation are years ahead of everybody. I have been associated with Glen and his crew for 10 years. They constructed and installed 20 k 60 panel 2 axis tracker that has been supplying our power needs for nearly 10 years. They keep track of our production and the maintenance needs. GM Industries is great company to do business with. Rich Action Glass LLC

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“in Connecticut 25 year ( 100% ) financing options for home owners Property tax…”
  • Bonded

“GMI is fully licensed, insured and bonded. Major Contractor- Lic. #MCO.901757…”
  • Licensed

“MASTER ELECTRICIANS GMI is fully licensed, insured and bonded. Major…”

Its website also mentions warranty, insured and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
