Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in the Buffalo area. Across New York, 121 of the 247 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 44 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Buffalo area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Go Solar WNY is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I want to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe the owner was just having a bad day. I was genuinely excited to work with Go Solar WNY—especially because the owner was directly involved, which initially gave me confidence and made the company stand out. After our initial consultation, I had to follow up just to receive the system specs that were promised. When I finally got them and called with a few questions and suggested a couple of changes to the plan, the owner became noticeably upset and dismissive. What really caught me off guard was that, desp

I recently had a solar system installed by Go Solar WNY, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the initial consultation through the final approval, everything was handled professionally, efficiently, and with exceptional communication. Bob took the time to answer all of my questions, explained every step of the process, and made sure I understood exactly what was happening throughout the project. I was kept informed from start to finish, including when permits and documents were submitted, when they were approved, when inspections were scheduled, and what the next steps woul

Bob did a great job squeezing in our install before the end of the year and did a great job communicating during each step of the process. Saw savings right away on my power bills even in the middle of winter.

I couldn't be happier with the solar battery backup system installed by Go Solar WNY. Bob worked with me to accommodate getting the system installed on short notice. He and his crew were punctual, knowledgeable and ensured that everything was setup perfectly. The quality of work exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Go Solar WNY for any solar or battery backup needs.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
