Solar By CIR Buffalo

Each mark is one company we hold in the Buffalo area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar By CIR Buffalo is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Had CIR install solar panels 10 years ago in 2016. They were very professional, did a wonderful job. I thought a checkup was in order because the web site SolarEdge was not showing my panels anymore and the inverter display stopped showing activity. It took a over a month to get a response from CIR then months to get an appt., then they want payment up front ( over $500). Not a way to run a business. I'll find some else to check my system.

Terrible!! Do not use!! Their technician was outrageously rude when I politely asked him to move his vehicle out of my parking spot. Started screaming and cursing at me. Doesnt seem like a company anyone should have anything to do with.

Edit: I'd like to share an update. After this review went up, CIR did reach out to me to negotiate the cost of trenching in exchange for removing this review. I went ahead with accepting a proposal with CIR because they seemed to be well reviewed and well priced and they ensured me that their experience in the electrical contracting business would serve well for the solar project. A service upgrade to 200 amps was one of major concerns and they convinced me they could do it and for better pricing than some competing quotes could. Plus, we're from Grand Island, a couple of streets away so we're

Waiting for the snow to leave our slippery roof was worth the wait for our solar panel installation. The entire staff and crew of CIR were professional and competent in their knowledge of the installation. Information about every component of the solar component system was excellent. Many thanks to all! We are anxious to see the change in our bills and our environment. We would certainly refer our friends to the CIR company.

The solar by CIr team installed our system with great care and respect for our property . Safety was paramount at every step. I was informed every step of the way to insure that the system was incorporated into our home and every detail was made to ensure that the system components didn’t looked gaudy or obtrusive. Communication was key with CIR, from the first meeting and every aspect along the way. I was kept informed of all the permitting and legal aspects, equipment used, upgrades, installation window and possible delays. The system is up and running for almost two weeks and I’m producing

Solar by CIR put in our rooftop solar system in summer 2025. They were very helpful and did a great job. We got quotes from a few contractors, but I had a lot of questions and CIR was the best about actually answering my questions vs. just trying to sell me something. They made financing, incentives, and tax rebates super easy, kept us updated in the approval process, and made sure we understood the system as installed. 5/5, would recommend.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

• Google also lists this company under electrical.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
