Its one and two star share is 5 points below the typical installer in Irvine. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Irvine whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Good Energy Network is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

We recently decided to explore solar energy options for our home, especially to power our swimming pool and reduce our electric bills. We were fortunate to work with Corey Bell, our sales representative, who made the entire experience exceptional. From the initial consultation to the final installation, Corey was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly personable. He took the time to thoroughly explain how solar energy could benefit us. His expertise and clear communication made it easy for us to understand and build the right system for our needs. We highly recommend Corey Bell to anyone

Got a pleasure speaking with Alex last year for solar system for our home in fremont. He was knowledgeable about what we needed and made sure our system was big enough for future use. We were approached by so many companies but Good Energy really shined with their reputation and the warranties they covered including their production guarantee. So far things are going smoothly and even got some credits from PGE!

Bought a new home, I have always wanted solar panels. The Good Energy sales and Freedom Forever install teams were both very professional, knowledgeable, and completed the process quickly. The install was beautifully done and passed City inspection with flying colors.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“their financial situation. 25 Year Warranty We are committed to a long-term…”
  • Licensed

“Over the past 17 years, our team of licensed and dedicated professionals have…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
