Work consisted of removal/reinstall of existing panels to install a new roof, adding nine new panels, and assuring that I had two strings that could be connected in parallel. Had it not been for my engineering background and basic electrical knowledge, this work would never have been performed correctly. Finally, after NINE MONTHS, the system is now working satisfactorily. The company's customer service suffers from the lack of a single point of contact, failure to return calls, using subcontractors who lack electrical knowledge, and continued efforts to delay and prove the customer wrong. Good Faith Energy redid my roof and designed and installed a solar system. Unfortunately, I’ve had nothing but problems with everything GFE worked on. Here’s a few of the many issues I’ve had to deal with: the solar system was not installed properly and they’ve had to come out multiple times to fix the issues with the their wiring and installation. They also had to redo some trenching and busted one of my water lines in the process. Their communication is lackluster and while dealing with these issues I’ve had to contact them multiple times to get responses. Then there’s the roof. Shingles wer

Spent months chatting with many companies and ultimately decided on Good Faith because of the nice saleswoman on the phone. We were reassured by the 5 star reviews raving about the excellent communication, but unfortunately that was not our experience. There were multiple instances where late in the day we’d get emails to respond or sign ASAP or we’d lose our spot to get our installation by the end of the year even though our we stated over and over and had it in the contract to have them installed by then. At one point we went 5 weeks without any response or updates. We were told we’d get a n

We had a great experience with Good Faith Energy installing the solar panels and backup batteries at our home. From the beginning, the team was professional, easy to work with, and good about explaining what was happening throughout the process. The installation came out very clean. The panels look great, the battery setup is organized, and everything feels like it was done with a lot of attention to detail. I also appreciated that they took the time to explain how the solar system and batteries work together instead of just installing everything and leaving. I have a much better understanding

Very easy to work with and very nice people. I had them do my roof and install solar. Chris and Ronnie are great professionals and made sure everything was done perfectly.

Everything went so smooth and everyone was amazing at explaining the process, how to use the solar & telsa power walls to the most efficient way. They even helped me find a grid backup plan that gives credits for extra solar during summer that I can use for winter months. My goal was to eliminate or minimize electric bill as much as possible and Good Faith Energy is 100% the way to go!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“installations? Yes! We offer multiple financing options including $0-down solar loans, lease…”
  • Established

“served DFW homeowners and businesses since 2014, earning 770+ five-star Google…”
  • Years in business

Its website also mentions warranty, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
