    My experience working with Grassroots has been terrible. They don't have any qualified electricians working with them and have several code violations. The system was installed and it is working, although it was wired incorrectly and there is a whole list of issues that I'm having another solar company fix. My biggest problem was with some house penetrations. For some reason they don't like to use PVC cement to seal the conduit or seal the junction boxes. I told them about it on the first house penetration and then they made the same mistake on the second. They also don't use the correct fitti

    Disastrous installation of a system that doesn't work and terrible customer support. This is the 4th solar PV system I've had installed in my life and I have never had as bad an experience. From the installation through support, it has been a nightmare. My system has been performing at 1/3 capacity for over 5 months (I've lost hundreds of kWh of production) and Grass Roots has done virtually nothing to address it. They go out, they report everything is fine and then I look in my online dashboard and hop on the phone with SunPower to confirm it is still not working. They come up with every excu

    Bill and his Company were very helpful when I was thinking about putting up panels, They were very easy to work with and got the job done in record time. Their costs were within my price range. Any questions I have had since have been answered ASAP. When I thought about putting in batteries they were able to tell me how many batteries I would need and the cost also the time frame to have them installed. Wonderful people to work with.

    These folks at Grassroots were attentive, prompt, responsive and pleasant to work with. They provided multiple options and scenarios, and allowed us to choose what best fit our needs and budget. They weren't pushy or dismissive. They answered all questions thoroughly, provided explanations, and got us up and running in a short amount of time. The installation crew was friendly and professional, and reviewed everything with me before any work began. They proposed various placement options before jumping to anything.     Excellent installation of our solar panels, along with good communication about how they work and what to expect. Hard to see in this photo but it's a large array across the entire back of our barn.
