Its one and two star share is 12 points above the typical installer in Texas. Across Texas, 197 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 23 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We had a really frustrating experience working with this company. They use Green Bear for funding, but the deal was never funded. Because of that, the homeowner didn’t receive the money, and the sales rep never got their commission. We spent a lot of time on this deal and kept following up, but nothing was resolved. Blake was the person we were dealing with, and despite multiple conversations, there was no real solution or accountability. Overall, it felt unprofessional and disappointing. We expected better communication and follow-through. Based on our experience, we wouldn’t recommend workin

Blake screwed over Lightbeamlending with the HDM capital projects by being negligent to the process they required to get us funded. costing home owners that signed with us not to get the full scope of their project and half to pay for loans that were not fully completed based on what was agreed upon. Blake at solar bear over saw these operations and let the negligence happen with his team members brittany and justin. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE

Micah at Green Bear Solutions did an exceptional job for us installing a new roof. From the beginning, his thoroughness was precise. He was there for it all, the insurance claim, for the adjuster coming out, getting a total loss on my 11yr old roof and executing a quick turnaround. My house looks great now with a new roof and new gutters thanks to Micah! Very resourceful and knowledgeable individual! Would do business with him again! Thank you for your service Micah and Jeremy!

I honestly can’t thank Green Bear Solutions enough for everything they did for me. As a single mom, having my AC suddenly go out in Florida heat was incredibly stressful. They had someone at my house in less than 24 hours and replaced the entire system quickly, professionally, and at a very fair price. I received quotes beforehand, and Green Bear Solutions offered me a larger, better system for less than what other companies were charging for smaller units, which immediately showed me their integrity. That same weekend, they also completed my roof, and the entire process was seamless from star

I highly recommend Micah and his crew. They were on time and efficient and our roof has been through some things at, being in Texas and our roofs still brand new. The crew cleaned up with their metal detectors and picked up all nails which is very appreciated. You don’t see everyone do that. I hope this helps.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“Panel Financing We offer flexible financing options to make solar energy more accessible…”

  • Years in business

“under the panels your Roof We have over 10 years exeprince with residential roofing…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
