  I had a system installed a couple years ago and the design and installation went well. Shortly after I started to get bills from national grid despite my overall production exceeding my usage. It wasn't every month, but I got bills randomly that ranged from small to several hundred dollars (in addition to the monthly payment on the loan for the system). There was a lot of back and forth between national grid and Insight and I was finally able to determine I was only getting a very small fraction of my excess production credited back via net metering and when it was applied to months I exceeded

  they need to learn how to manage their web site, when it say's to check your e-mail there should be an e-mail actually sent. Hire people who don't lie.

  Insight solar are liars. It's been a year with Solar now. I've waited a year to write a review and see how everything shook out. So far I'm slightly net-positive for going solar (because of the ONE TIME federal tax credit). However, NOT WORTH IT, if I could turn back time and not do it I would. Before you move forward with solar, my two cents: -there WILL BE a lien against your home -they will lie/inflate about savings to sell you panels -work with your tax professional BEFORE you start working with solar installers -DONT USE INSIGHT

  I have mixed feelings about this company. The install guys get 5 stars. A nice clean and professional job. The relationship and communi ations started out good but went down hill. I am a numbers person and want to understand how the magic of solar works. They setup me up with him the Solar Edge app. When I started experimenting with it I found out the panels installed were not what I was quoted. They were good panels but not not as good as what I thought I was suppose to be getting. We were able to work out settlement.   My experience with Insight was stellar. John and Eric were great at explaining the process and options. If I had a question their response was almost instant. I had quotes from 2 other companies and the timeline from insight was much faster, enabling me to catch the summer sun instead of having to wait for an autumn installation. The installers were efficient , fast and left no traces that they were even here. Insight reached out to get permits and inspections done ASAP.   On a scale of 1-5 this company is a 5 - absolutely outstanding!! I'm so happy we went solar with your company. They are prompt. They have upfront pricing but also give a realistic idea of how many solar panels you could use. The send images of what the solar looks like on your home and very reliable. One time one of our panels was not working properly or as efficiently as it should have. We didn't know but they did. We coordinated and they sent a person out within that week to fix it. I highly recommend this company if you are thinking about going solar.

  We had the system installed in 2022 and it has been a near zero cost in electric bills since. Very happy with how they calculated our electrical usage and eliminated any electric bills. Materials have worked flawless since the install too. Very pleased with the team from install to today.
