    Installed quickly, but failed inspection twice; finally works after months; lost 2025 tax credit Ion installed solar panels on our house several years ago. On July 9, 2025, we contracted with Ion to install additional panels. The sales process, site inspection, permit submission went smoothly. The approvals were obtained quickly and the initial installation of additional panels was completed on July 29. During the installation, Ion removed the renewable energy credit (REC) meter and meter socket. Upon confirmation of installation (not permission to operate), the loan company released funds to

    Door to door salesman introduced us to Ion solar. The consultant came the next day. Lots of lip service but no hard quote, been a week and haven’t heard a thing. We decided to go with Robco. Much better option and significantly cheaper.

    Salesmen and, customer service really bad, Absolutely NO followup. System so far has been 8 months and im still not live. Mistakes galore, broken things, incomplete work,(redone twice) failed inspections. I thought that being a cash customer I would be king. Not so much. I would think twice.

    Everything went fine up the install. Ion would contact me and return calls quickly. After the install it is almost impossible to get a response. I scheduled an appointment to get three broken tiles replaced. They were supposed to be at my home between 9 and 12. At 1 pm, I called to find out where the workers were and found out they were busy. Ion should have called me and told me they were going to be late. I told them I had to leave at two. I was told they would call and reschedule they didn’t. A week later, I called back to reschedule. I chose an appointment 10 days from now. Let’s see what

    From start to finish, ION Solar took care of everything. I never had to guess what was next or what was going on, communication was on point. All the employees are Respectful , professional, and knowledgeable. ION Solar is the best choice for Solar!

    I had a sale rep from Ion come knock on my door and offered an appointment based on knowledge and any answeres to my curiousty. I proceeded with an appointment after work ( they were flexible with my schedule) and i layed it out on the table for them. I assumed there would be a loan, credit check, downpayment and etc... they took the time to explain to me that not of that was the case and even went in legally bills that were passed stateing how loans and dowpayments were not required at all and that Ion was functioned as such. This sparked my interest even more and in the most efficient, easy
