Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Hawaii. Across Hawaii, 47 of the 87 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 62 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I do not recommend this company to install birding proofing. I hired KB Ohana on September 30, 2025 and paid $2,000 for three things: cleaning my solar panels, removing pigeons nesting under the panels, and installing bird proofing to prevent them from coming back. Despite this, the pigeons were still on my roof afterward. Because my home is two-story and my spouse and I are both over 60, we are not physically capable of climbing onto the roof to check whether the work was done properly. We relied entirely on the company’s honesty and professionalism. On October 29, 2025, I texted the owner, K

My gutters were overflowing and had accumulated so many palm nuts that Myna birds passed on the roof. Heavy rain drove them into my gutters eventually preventing proper drainage. The water spilled onto my lawn and worked its way up toward my door. It would have been disastrous had the rain not stopped. I called KB, and they professionally cleaned my gutters and flushed the drainage system. I was amazed at the amount of nuts that had accumulated and blocked my drainage system. I most highly recommend KB for coming to my rescue. They are incredibly friendly and told me what had to be done. Again

KB was great!! Called him and got a next day appointment. He was very prompt and explained the process of cleaning the dryer and lint trap up to the roof. After he was finish he cleaned up work area and hooked everything back up. Now I’m not worried about years of lint buildup causing a fire. I highly recommend him, you will not be disappointed.

Arrived on time. Worked quickly and efficiently. Solar panels look like new. Highly recommend.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate and family owned, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • Google also lists this company under chimney, gutters, house cleaning and pressure washing.
    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Waianae is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
