We got a great system that was just what we wanted. Meg and Jared struck the perfect balance between designing the solar system we asked for and giving professional advice on what works and what doesn't. Six months in, I'm fairly confident that we got a system with the perfect blend of watts/dollar, and watts/square foot. When installing panels on a roof or property, there are usually related jobs to be done. mClean has a good bench of trusted referrals. We were pleased with the work and price of the roofers they recommended to us. As is to be expected from a large system with many components,

Meg was great to work with. I talked to her when we still were unsure of our timeline and what we needed. She was super helpful understanding our options and working with us to figure out production needs — we had a lot of unknowns, we were pondering a heat pump for our house, and other projects to move to cleaner energy, and Meg was helpful with information for our prioritization plans. We ended up pulling the trigger a year or so after we first talked, and got our solar array installed last winter. NYS still has net zero metering so having the solar installed right when we had a heat pump in

We worked with mClean Power last year and had a ~15 kW system installed. We had a very positive experience and we would recommend them to anyone. The pricing was fair and the crew was great and respectful. The only issues we had were from delays from parts being back ordered but they let us know as soon as they found out and completed what they could and then finished the project once the parts were in.

What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
- It posts on LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Auburn is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
