Michigan Solar Solutions

Each mark is one company we hold in the Grand Rapids area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Michigan Solar Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

This year, we decided to add a battery backup to our system no one would touch a system they didn't install so back to MSS we are. We knew from our previous installation roughly what to expect but this was MUCH worse. I am the bill payer and half this household and they would NOT talk to me, or even acknowledge my concerns. With ALL the work my husband put in, all the tools that we needed to supply to make this 3 day install happen we needed a credit. Needless to say, I have not seen an invoice, have not heard a word from anyone at MSS. This is by far the worst company I've EVER heard of and d

I couldn't be happier with Michigan Solar Solutions regarding the recent Generac warranty recall issue with our PWRCell batteries. Emails and phone calls were prompt and informative. Chris helped me with the long-term fix (neutral links) for our batteries; we are up and running again. AAA+++

I was in contact with Generac tech support about some of my solar panels not producing power due to a suspested component (SNAPRSS) failure. Generac gave me the contact information for Michigan Solar Solutions (who are clean energy certified) so I setup an appointment. The technicians (Casey and his team) came to the house on time and proceeded to troubleshoot the array. Casey and his team were able to find the defective component and replace it in a matter of a couple of hours. Casey was very clear up front as to the job at hand and how his team was going to proceed. They got my system backup

I recently enjoyed working with Michigan Solar Solutions, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. They demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction from start to finish. The team at Michigan Solar Solutions made the entire process seamless. Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
