Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Temecula. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 13 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Temecula, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★35%

Each mark is one company we hold in Temecula whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Neighborhood Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

If you're trying to repair or upgrade your solar system or even just want to replace some panels with some used panels Josh is very knowledgeable and not only is he certified to work on solar he's also a licensed electrician. He's extremely honest and ethical and customer service oriented.

Professional, reliable, reasonable, knowledgeable, and honest. If you need anything relating to solar or battery installation, repairs, or upgrades, I highly recommend Neighborhood Solar. You can call the major corporate companies to compare rates and service, but you’ll quickly find your best bet is to stick with these guys. Josh was fantastic throughout the process and the results were just what I was looking for.

Josh and Neighborhood Solar were a great referral from a Sunrun employee, while I was investigating the need for more solar. I knew I had an issue with my original system install, but two other large solar companies that I had troubleshoot my system could not diagnose my issues of ground faults and low power output. Josh was able to quickly Identify 4 panels that were never hooked up per the original plan. His company is what the solar industry needs. Thank you for your honest, affordable, quick and valuable assistance.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on X. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
