The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 163 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Summary: Sales persons are either deceptive or unintelligent. Customer service support is shady. They do not care about the customer whatsoever after you sign your contract. We originally had a decent representative who set us up with a reasonable contract to meet our needs at the time. We purchased an electric car and the following year found ourselves with a bill. So through Sunrun we worked with a door to door rep who sold us on a few more panels and a couple battery systems. Throughout the negotiation I repeatedly asked for confirmation that the price I was being quoted was an updated bill

This has actually nothing to do with the solar panels or service. I’m very upset because I have a sign ON my doorbell that says do not knock or ring the doorbell I have a baby sleeping. A guy completely ignored it to try to get more sales (I understand wanting to get sales but do you really think I’m going to be happy and now sign up? No!) Please respect people and their homes. I have a baby sleeping and a dog that will bark if the doorbell goes off. Everyone is going through a different part of life and you need to be courteous to that. Teach staff to be aware and respectful. I asked him if h

I met Erica on a Sunday afternoon while she was out in my neighborhood. She took the time to go over my bill and explain how everything worked. My main concern was that I was already getting a pretty major discount through SDG&E, so I never really thought solar would make sense for me or work out any better. Erica was able to show me how the Sunrun solar-as-a-service program could still work in my favor, keep my costs low, and put my home in a better place overall. My roof was in serious need of replacement, so that had to be addressed first, and through this process I was able to get the roof

I’ve been a Sunrun customer since 2018, and I connected with Erica in 2020. Since then, she has been my go-to person for anything related to my system — billing questions, monitoring, and general support. Most recently, my inverter went out, and it was easy to get a technician scheduled to come out and replace it. During that time, I was still being billed by both Sunrun and SDG&E, so I reached out to Erica for help. She quickly guided me on what to say and who to contact, and with her help I was able to work with Sunrun’s billing department and receive reimbursement under the performance guar

Erica first knocked on our door on a Sunday while canvassing the neighborhood. At the time we weren’t ready to move forward, but we kept her card and said she could circle back. Life got busy and it took a little while to reconnect, but Christina eventually stopped by and helped set up an appointment. From the beginning, both Erica and Christina were very easy to work with. My husband Rich and I had a lot of questions and were honestly a bit skeptical at first, but they were patient, knowledgeable, and never pushy. They set up a three-way text thread so we could stay in communication throughou

- It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
- It posts on Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
