Its one and two star share is 5 points below the typical installer in New Mexico. Across New Mexico, 44 of the 65 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 4 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

January (2025) Dan installed my Ecoflow SmartHome panel. He provided extremely useful advice relevant to mounting six 400w solar panels on a utility trailer (slope angle, long distance wiring options, connectors and positioning for maximum sun exposure). Dan discovered electric code violations in progress by another (unassociated) contractor remodeling my bathroom. Dan went above and beyond to speak with the rouge contractor, clarifying what was obvious. Afterwards, he disconnected the fire hazard because his moral compass wouldn’t allow him to ignore it. Today, Dan returned to my semi-remote

A top notch team ! I would give more stars if allowed, professional, timely, kind , and a job well done and helped in everything, even taxes. These guys are GREAT!

The process has been excellent. Bo on one end and Dan on the job. We have had multiple projects on our remote ranch but none have gone this well. Honest and thoroughness are quality assets that seem to disappear in today’s world. Not with this crew ! I highly recommend Off Grid Solar !!!!

What reviewers keep mentioning

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • 24/7 availability

“scheduling. Can a solar well pump run 24/7 without sun? With a battery bank and…”

  • Years in business

“building off-grid in New Mexico for over 10 years — drilling wells, putting in septic,…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Moriarty is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
