Its one and two star share is 21 points above the typical installer in Washington. Across Washington, 9 of the 99 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 25 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Very deceptive sales, promised things and no follow through. Took a long time for install. Now it seems there have disappeared. No phone, no email, nothing. Very disappointing to say the least. They got their money and stuck a lot of people without service and a huge loan. Sucks!

They were a no show on my appointment. I moved my whole day around to make the appointment work and no one bothered to contact me to let me know they wouldn't be showing up.

Email address is down. Won't return phone calls.

The Offset Solar team has been on top of our installation to date and we3 are excited to have solar panels on our roof before the end of January, 2019!

Clear and helpful presentation by Leslie who was very professional.

Offset was fantastic to work with. They were prompt getting back to me when I sent in my request for proposal and had a salesperson out promptly to my house to discuss my proposal. After some negotiation, we were off and running. Within a couple months the system was up and running. For the 3 months the system has been live, the system has exceeded the expected production by over 10%, even with all the cloudy and rainy days. I did research after the installation of what the perfect system and inverter size would be for my home and discovered that they had sized my system absolutely perfectly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
