Ohio Power Solutions, LLC

Each mark is one company we hold in Columbus whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Ohio Power Solutions, LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Good communication from start to finish. Installation was quick. Very professional, friendly, and courteous group. Of the solar companies I contacted, Ohio Power Solutions provided the least expensive quote, and even worked with me on a design which reduced one panel for the same output - ultimately saving me even more money. I would highly recommend, and have recommended, to anyone looking for a local solar installation company.

OPS made the process of getting solar panels easy. They did a lot of research to advise us where it is worth (and not worth) putting panels on our home. They set us up with an app to monitor electricity production and usage.

These guys were great start to finish. Bob provided clear communication during the initial contract process and Eric provided guidance throughout the permitting and installation. The onsite team was respectful and efficient with their work, completing the install in a day. 100% I would work with this team again!!!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Financing

“technology and process - including financing options through the Clean Energy Credit…”

• Warranty

“They not only have a outstanding warranty but also truly care more about the…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, family owned, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on LinkedIn, Facebook and X. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Columbus is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
