After 3 appointments with the same kid telling us we don’t know how to set the system and that everything is fine, we called for a second opinion and they immediately found the issue in less than 24hrs after two months of visits from old coast claiming the system works great even while it’s hot indoors. Awful experience especially during the hottest months of the year.

The initial installation process was great but less than 2 years into a brand new system and I had to bring in another company to properly fix my ac. After spending thousands of dollars, having to call in another set of eyes is not ideal. I received a lot of maintenance under my warranty but the unit never functioned at 100% too long before I had to call them back. The new company has identified the problem and I will have to pay another few thousand to fix a system that was not properly installed and maintained under warranty. Updated: I was serviced in oct/sept of 2025 (7 months ago). I had

They will take ten minutes to install a $25 part, charge you over $500 and leave with a smile. Less than 10 months after previous service. They are ripping off everyone. I will NEVER call them back.

UPDATE - 6/23/2026 To the company's credit, the president of the company called me after this review and after some apparent book-keeping issues, they've promised a check in the mail for the rebate amount. Consequently, I'm increasing the score because of the follow up but it was not a good experience regarding the water heater purchase. It seems they may be better suited to commercial rather than residential contracts in that area. ++++ ORIGINAL POST from 6/8/2026+++++++ We've had good experiences w Old Coast regarding our HVAC system. HOWEVER, we were looking to replace a hot water heater an

We have had Old Coast do some service work over the last few years, and we had decided when it was time to get a new heat pump, they would be the company. What a great decision. Roy came out and did a thorough inspection to see which unit would be of the greatest efficiency for us. He listened to what we wanted, and was very clear explaining different options. For the work, Oscar (the lead), Marco and Jose were the best! We had to have all of our old duct work taken out and replaced and install a new heat pump so it was a four day process. They were courteous, timely, professional and skilled!

Thomas was very pleasant and professional. He did great work and communicated clearly about needed upkeep of our unit. He took the time to make sure we understood what was wrong and gave us options.

Repost: I received a call about my concern below on the next day and the representative assisted me graciously and explained the procedure and made all the corrections needed during that call. So I am re-rating them 5 stars because they gave me a convenient appt as my mom is disabled and they accommodated that, they provided great service and customer service, and followed up with my review and were able to educate me on their process and fixed my concern. Thanks and I will be contacting you for my upgrade.. Service tech was great, appt time was perfect for us. Only thing is that it appeared t

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.
Elsewhere
- Google also lists this company under heating and cooling.
- It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
- Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Brunswick is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
