  So far a dismal experience. During installation, they tried to fit a conduit behind my gas meter and broke the gas meter in the process. Crews just left without a word. Got home and entire area smelled like gas with an audible spewing sound and had to get an emergency Xcel crew to fix it that night. But then they finished the install and just left, no walkthrough, no next steps, no nothing. Only communication I have gotten since is a cancelled last minute inspection and many notices from accounts receivable demanding final payment for my non operational system. I regret my choice.

  What an absolute nightmare of a company to deal with. From the lack of transparency in the initial design and inability to communicate on design options, to explaining and executing the financing, to installing the incorrect equipment and having to come back to replace it, to setting up the back end incorrectly in that our app was monitoring another house, to not being able to provide enough purchase information for the Tesla rebate. I lack the ability to express my full and total frustration and lack of faith in this company.

  These guys were great, right up until I paid them. Then, the communication dropped off for several months. Worse, we had agreed to a certain setup, but when the installers came, they did not bring the right equipment. This was after months of me asking to make sure they had the right equipment and the project manager assuring me that they would do the install as agreed. When I complained, the answer from Photon Brothers was "We can install it today, and you will get your rebate, or you can wait until 2026, when you will get the installation you want but not the rebate".   My issue is not with the technician who replaced the inverter the service before. The app never alerted me there was a issue, just happened to look on day and saw a problem. When sent email per the phone not being answered was told would get a response in 5 days, seemed like a long time but did hear back in two days Was told equipment failure and they would order, said would take two weeks and then set up installation. Not sure what day got email that part was in but the installation was not till 7/31 which I know was at least a week out. On 7/31 got call that they could not install, this was

  A crew came onsite to do a solar detach in preparation for a new roof. The lead guy was Christian and he was professional and friendly, explaining the process and answering questions. A really great experience overall!

  Had a great experience. Worked specifically with Alexis and Chris to tackle some tricky issues with the utility company but they were very professional and did a great job and got it all done. We love the final product.

  Photon Brothers installer, Jeremy, notified us that he was on his way, arrived on time, and completed a clean installation of our new Tesla Powerwall battery in under 4 hours. Thanks Jeremy, for your modification to install the conduit below the siding. And thanks for the thorough explanation of the Tesla app allowing us to view the balance of power between the battery, the solar panels and the grid.
