Every company we hold in Albuquerque, on one axis

Terrible service. Kept being told they would call me and figure things out, then would get confused emails from different team members. I had a $500 credit issued for previous work. Then my service bill was magically increased by $500 to make the credit worthless. It was plain as day what they did.

After sales service is appalling. They wanted to charge $750 for moving 3 solar panels so that roofers could repair a leak. They have customers trapped by saying that the warranty is invalid if the panels are moved by anyone but them. The job took less than 10 minutes. Afterwards the technician said he would get the the replacement of the panels scheduled. When I called to ask why they had not returned to put back the panels, a slimy person called Michael said this was not the way it worked and it would be scheduled at their convenience. The charge was reduced to about $225 after someone from

I am modifying my review after several years of experience with PES. They are apparently great at working with prospective and new customers, but not so much after the sale is final. It comes down to communication, as I noted in my original review. My cell monitoring equipment used 3G and was sunsetted last year. They attempted to reach my only by email, which they misspelled, and gave up after thinking I was not responding. No phone call, no letter. When I finally did get in touch, they provided a quote of $500 to change the cell monitoring to 4G. My alarm company charged $200 for the same th

If they don't want to install EV charging stations maybe they shouldn't be on the PNM recommended installer list. Left a message, got a prompt call back but once I told them I just wanted a charger install and not solar panels I was told the person in charge of that department would call me back. Recieved no further contact after that. I understand if you don't want to do a certain type of work but please just be upfront with customers about it.

I really liked working with positive solar. Everything seemed to move along so quickly and efficiently. All the workers were really friendly and nice when I asked questions too.

We had Positive Energy Solar install solar for us back in 2020. Everything went smoothly and it is still functioning perfect with no issues. Helps keep us out of the high extra costs during the summer for sure. We appreciated the ability to have them install low into the tile for a nicer look too.

Excellent company and results. We install 11 years ago and it went perfect from start to finish. The install was exactly as promised during the sales/design process. 7.4kW of panels is till delivering every month. Our electric bill has increase slightly over this time from around $5 to around $15 but that is PNM minimum billing amount. I interviewed 3 or 4 contractors for this job. Positive Energy was not the cheapest nor the most expensive. But Kopavi and the company reputation set me at ease from the get go and my decision was not wrong. Kopavi was there for us every step of the way ensure o

What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Financing
“panels and equipment, warranties , financing options , and navigate available solar…”
Years in business
“by our peers and customers for over 25 years. But don’t just take our word…”
Licensed
“and proven stability Certified, licensed in-house installers Strong customer…”
Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs, Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
- It posts on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
