Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Washington. Across Washington, 61 of the 99 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 11 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I’ve owned a 10kw almost 8 years now and I must say it has not been as great an investment as I was led to believe. We just don’t use enough energy to benefit from savings generated by the panels. Any excess, if any, that is credited by PUD is quickly exhausted by October. With pacific northwest weather, there just aren’t enough sunny days. The SunPower micro inverters are not durable and quickly deteriorate, reducing power output but until they fail outright, you have to live with decreased performance. After SunPower’s bankruptcy, transitioning to Enphase monitoring was frustrating. After pr

My partner and I had been considering solar for a while. I did a lot of research into several different companies and decided to go with Power Trip for several reasons. For starters, they actually came out and looked at the property, rather than just using a computer generated model. Further, they answered all my questions promptly and were honest and fair in their quotes. The system has been stellar since we had it installed in August 2022.

4.9 stars, few years later and still loving our SunPower system. We went to 2 of Andy's community talks before taking the plunge and couldn't be more impressed with his mastery of all things solar. During install the techs were courteous, clean and professional. Other contractors that have visited since remark on the quality of work. ONLY downside- Michael didn't measure our roof correctly, by a long shot, but fortunately one of the techs noticed mid-install and was able to shift the entire system to allow for more panels. $12k in additional panels. We're happy for the extra solar, but talk ab

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“REC modules we use carry a 25 year warranty, but what is their overall life…”
  • Years in business

“are still working today, that’s over 70 years of production. REC has created an AC…”

Its website also mentions established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

  • Google also lists this company under electrical.
  • It posts on Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
