Update: 6/11/26 still waiting its now 5 years and they no longer respond to completing what.they promised. Maybe time to get an attorney on this. They never came to complete their work. The Solar patio is leaking. They keep telling me we will get there and they never did. Its now year 4 that I have been waiting for.

Where to begin? Install took a full year longer than we were told it would due to the electrician never showing up for the inspections, and once for claiming the wrong kind of footings, the paint is the wrong color, and when the inverter went out only a year after install, they told us we weren't in their covered service area. Cannot NOT recommend them enough. Craptastic to work with.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Premium Solar patios was the worst contractor experience I have ever had. The staff was non-responsive, inept, and incapable. Permitting errors pushed our small installation to over a year duration. Painted columns are rusting through. The patio leaks. The electrical was poorly installed and had to be fixed by another contractor. The flashing was installed poorly. I cannot say enough about how bad our experience was.

I worked with John on my project from start to finish. He gave me a proposal for solar and a battery for my house. I have Grayson Collin Electric Coop and I am very happy with John's Company and my solar System. My electric bill is exactly $40 every single month. John was very knowledgeable an gave me multiple options for my system. Excellent work.

I guess 3rd time is the charm. I had nearly been tricked by other solar companies into contracts that were not in our best interest. Those companies also trashed our home and electrical before even starting and we had to pay out of pocket to get that fixed and even to get our contract voided for the lack of integrity. Premium Solar Patios has done right by us. Mr. Paul has been accountable, has integrity, and has been extremely attentive. He has put in a lot of effort and has made it easy during this process. I was weary at first because of all the other things that have happened but choosing

I had a fantastic experience with Premium Solar Patios, thanks to Steve! He was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Steve took the time to understand my current power needs and provided expert advice on the best solar panel setup for my home. He answered every question I had and made sure I understood the whole process. The installation team was professional and efficient, ensuring everything was done to the highest standard. I highly recommend Premium Solar Patios and especially Steve for his outstanding service!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“black on black and include a 25-year warranty with the added peace of mind to…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
