Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in Idaho. Across Idaho, 20 of the 50 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 16 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

0% rated 1–2★100%

Each mark is one company we hold in Idaho whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Prizm Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

My experience with this company was ok I guess. The problem I have with them is that they are dishonest and they don’t always pay their sales reps. I know they didn’t pay mine. I can’t possibly give a good review to these kind of people.

Hayden with prizm solar was great to work with, he made the process easy. From start to finish it took 1 month to start saving my power bill was 5 dollars for october.

Ben and his team were an absolute pleasure to work to work with. Super responsive when I had questions and very courteous and did a fantastic job on install day. Just good people to work with. Highly recommend.

I contacted a few other solar companies and by far Prizm is the best. I dealt with Scott the entire time. He is extremely knowledgeable and great to work with. I definately reccomend Prizm Solar and their team!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and HomeAdvisor. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
