Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in New York. Across New York, 139 of the 247 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 7 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Outstanding and very professional we are well pleased and highly recommend for solar.

Fred is an amazing person. I called him in desperation because my previous solar contractor demonstrated he had no interest in helping me out of a dire situation with batteries. Fred didnt know me at all, I was not a customer of his but he was on it immediately. I received call backs from him in an extremely timely fashion.. He helped me find the most cost effective way to solve my problem and had my new batteries installed the same day . Now I'm sure he can't solve every problem that quickly but at least you can count on someone who will always follow up with you, like I said, in a timely man

Proven Energy Systems installed our solar array and did a phenomenal job! Fred has provided outstanding service even AFTER the installation!! We would highly recommend!! You will NOT be disappointed with the value and service!!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
