Its one and two star share is 6 points above the typical installer in Washington. Across Washington, 33 of the 99 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.
The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 47 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We spent $100,000 several months ago for solar panels through this company. The company evidently was negligent in its installation because there is water penetrating into the house from the roof where the solar panel was attached. The cost of repair is significant with the removal of the solar panel, repair of the roof, re-installing the solar panel, and interior painting. My son-in-law and I spent hours on the phone with customer service and a project manager at PureLight. They admit that we have a 15 year warranty but claim that they will not honor the warranty because they no longer do bus

Communication is fantastic especially wth Auna and Nathaniel. I feel confident that my solar issues will be addressed. As a customer i feel heard. When I was with Sologen I was passed around to people who were unhelpful and never had my issues addressed. I'm spending $43k on my solar panels. I've had them for 4 years and I dont think they have worked properly yet. Im counting on Pure Light power to get my home "energized". Don't let me down Pure Light. Addendum to raving review above. Now that I am in communication with Purelight I was told by the 2 people above to wait to hear from a schedule

Do Not Use. From the beginning there was poor communication and clearly a left hand right hand dynamic within the company. While everyone was nice, the incompetency was rampant. From not setting expectations or communicating at multiple points in the process, to poor and shoddy work from dirty hand prints all over my walls while inspecting my attic, and debris left behind to what I discovered just now a few months after install. I was willing to just provide my feedback to the company and not write a negative review but as I just now saw that where the purelight crew routed the power line from

I asked a lot of questions before signing and nobody acted annoyed or pushy. They explained battery options clearly and gave honest recommendations. The whole setup looks clean and works exactly as promised.

Great people from sales to installation to follow-up .

Really quite easy to talk to, responsive and polite. Can't fault them for anything and the whole team was really professional throughout the installation and bid etc.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.
What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Its website also mentions financing, warranty and 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
- It posts on Pinterest, Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Spanaway is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
