Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in San Diego. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 30 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in San Diego whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Sattler Solar Inc. is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Sattler Solar added a solar array to my home 5 years ago. The installation was flawless and I haven’t had any issues with the array. They just added two Powerwall 3 batteries this week. The install team showed up on time, were courteous, very knowledgeable about the product and completed the install in under six hours. Pricing was very competitive and their Customer Service is top-notch. I’d recommend you consider using Sattler Solar for your project!

Sattler Solar installed our solar system in 2018. Everyone involved, from Erik the owner to all his employees were great, and obviously knew the solar industry inside and out. Years later when we needed to have the roof replaced, we had Sattler remove and then reinstall the panels and mounting hardware. They also inspected all connections, and cleaned all the panels. The only issue was the inverter going bad and that was replaced under warranty. All these issues were taken care promptly and efficiently. If you're looking to go solar, I would highly suggest having Sattler Solar come out and exp

I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Sattler Solar. They installed our system in 2017. Recently our inverter stopped working and I reached out to Sattler Solar. They had a tech out and a warranty claim with a new inverter on the way within days (at no cost to me). They installed the new one on Christmas Eve! Great company. Even the owner Erik is quick to respond to texts. I highly recommend this company!!!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Established

“Engineers license in California since 2006 and became a LEED A.P. in 2008.”

  • Licensed

“Eliminate your energy bill Fully licensed 30% federal tax credit approved FREE…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, family owned, years in business and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Instagram and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
