Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Connecticut. Across Connecticut, 55 of the 112 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 3 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Shedd Energy is highly recommended. Professional installation and very easy to navigate the app. I waited over 20 years for the right solar company - it was worth the wait!!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) We recently had SHEDD Solar install solar panels and backup batteries at our home, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience and results! From the start, the team was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and patient with all our questions. They walked us through every step of the process, helping us understand how the system works and customizing the setup to fit our specific energy needs. The installation itself was seamless. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and took extra care to leave everything clean and tidy when they were done. They even helped us

Shedd Energy installed my solar panels and they were fantastic. So many companies are trying to oversell you, claim your tax deduction and sign you to onerous contracts, but not Shedd. Shedd is 100% customer-focused and service-oriented. They were quick to respond to all concerns and our system works very well. Five stars!

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Westport is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
