We had previously researched solar panels and didn’t think it was viable. But after taking down a large tree, we researched again and found Smart Solar Energy. Our new panels will cover 100% of our energy needs and this company helps with all the energy rebates. Worth it! Jordan was honest, clear, and organized with what his company could offer. The installers were professional and efficient. Activation was slower than hoped for, but that was a city/utilities delay. Smart Solar kept us in the loop with updates and communication. My favorite part of this company is their warranties and continue

From start to finish my experience with Smart Solar Energy was great. I was a bit skeptical about putting on Solar panels in Oregon but the team at Smart Solar were great to work with. I was not shy about asking hard questions and exploring the math behind the return on investment which was the biggest motivation. I really appreciated the post sales follow-up and their dedicated project manager ensuring things were on track and went smoothly. I will certainly be willing to refer them in the future.

Great company to work with--very happy with my system and all of my interactions with their employees.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Lake Oswego is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
