Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in the Fort Myers area. Across Florida, 368 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 224 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I was happy with the work of Solar Energy Solutions in removing my existing solar panels prior to the install of a new roof after Hurricane Ian. However, when re-installing the panels, the install crew re-routed the wiring down from the roof to a very visible and unattractive location rather than re-use the concealed conduit from the original install. If not for this detail, I would be able to rate them 5-star.

I had an issue with my solar system that another company was trying to charge me for, even though it should have been covered under warranty. I decided to get a second opinion and reached out to Solar Energy Solutions of America — and I’m really glad I did. Caylee was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She stayed on top of everything, kept me updated, and made sure the issue was properly handled. In the end, the problem was resolved correctly under warranty, saving me from unnecessary costs. After a long and frustrating situation, they were able to get my system fully back up an

This is a great company They were amazing to work with. Not a single issue. The work was done professionally and on time. The solar panels for the pool are working far beyond my expectations. Thanks to everyone at the company, especially Caylee. Also want to give some credit to Jacob and Kyle the installers. Really nice guys who worked very hard.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“results, along with affordable financing options and the opportunity to save even more…”

  • Better Business Bureau

“including accreditation from the Better Business Bureau and hundreds of five-star reviews.”

Its website also mentions veteran owned, free estimate, established, years in business, insured, licensed and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
