Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Fort Myers. Across Florida, 355 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 320 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

This company is making false claims about companies being out of business on their website. They do this to try to gain more business which extremely shady. Our attorney will be in touch with them immediately with a cease and assist. A few of those companies on “their” list are still in business. What a shady business tactic.

Gal answering the phones just hung up on me! Seriously?? I called to request structural engineering services for residential solar, which is something they do as part of their solar design process. She didn't seem to understand. Well, we will hire someone else. Certainly won't recommend this business to others given my experience.

We just installed 18 panels at our new house in Punta Gorda. From start to finish, Florida Solar Design. They were excellent in every aspect of the project. We're thrilled that we used them.

Jason and his team at Florida Solar Design Group are amazing professionals that work together to care for their clients! So happy to find knowledgeable people with customer service as one of their core values. I highly recommend that if you have a solar system at your home, and they didn’t install it have Florida Solar provide an evaluation.

After dealing with issues caused by another solar company, finding Florida Solar Design Group was such a relief. They came in and fixed a situation that had been stressful and frustrating for us, and they truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process. From the beginning, they were honest, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what was wrong, what needed to be fixed, and made sure everything was handled correctly. Their communication was excellent, and you could tell they genuinely cared about helping us rather than just making a sale. The team wa

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions financing and warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Pinterest, YouTube, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
