  I had a problem with the inverter they said they were going to come in 2 weeks 2 weeks came and they canceled and they said they were going to come the week after and then they canceled and then they said they were going to come the week after and then they canceled after you buy the system you're on your own with the warranty and they don't seem to want to help you once you have the system if you don't want any headaches don't buy from solar 5 and now the meter tied to the system stop reporting on 314/22 cuz of the 3G network shut down the meter needs to be replaced I emailed them and they ne

  Updates: Alejandro and his team has been working with me on this monitoring issue and has been involving SunPower and EverSource. While we are working through this I wanted to make a note that his team has been very attentive in trying to sort through the open issue. To reiterate, the system installed is working, but the monitoring and the SunPower portal is the current issue. Once we can figure out if there is an issue with how SunPower reports, if there are any issues at the house, or if Eversource reports differently, I will update.   My experience with Solar Five was exceptional and very smooth and easy. Ever since leaving the service and relocating to Newton with my family I wanted to take advantage of solar, the tax incentives and to state incentives. I did my homework and found out the Solar Five was the right company to work with. From being a local family owned business, to having all the correct insurances and licenses and from doing the whole solar install in house with no sub contractor was a huge plus. Solar Five was able to install and get my system hooked up to the utility company within 65 days. Extremely happy

  Overall a great experience working with Alejandro and his team. We decided to go with Solar Five because of the 25-year warranty and SunPower is the leader in producing most efficient panels. We also got a good discount because initially there were some confusions with the contract and pricing (long story). Alejandro was quick to resolve the issue. The bottleneck in the whole installation process was actually permit application and the time it took for Eversource to activate our system. Once permit was approved it only took the specialists two days to install a fully functional system. And the

  I worked with David as the Sales Rep and Alejandro as Operations Head. They have been very personable, open and transparent about challenges due to COVID, have been very responsive and I am very happy with Solar Five and the panels that they installed. I would highly recommend them to any friend or colleague looking to install solar.
