Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in New York. Across New York, 139 of the 247 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 3 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Absolutely thrilled with my new 25W solar panel from Solar Power Lifestyle! Got this in anticipation of our summer camping and hiking trips. It arrived really quickly after ordering. It's so lightweight and won't add any bulk to our gear and it charged my devices really well. We took it out for a spin a few days ago while hiking and were really pleased. I love all the adapters it comes with and the carabiners which make it easy to hang from trees, tents, etc so you can easily catch the sun. Really happy to add this to our gear for this summer!

Highly recommended! We are gearing up for some big off grid trips this summer in southern Utah, and my friend recommended this cool portable solar panel so I thought I’d give it a try. I was super impressed when it arrived. It comes in beautiful packaging and has several accessories (2 carabiners, a DC cable and 10 adapter jacks for various gadgets). We took it on a hike today and this is going to be perfect for our needs. It charged our phones and camera battery while we took a break for lunch and I know we will also be able to charge our generator with it. It’s super lightweight and durable,

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Webster is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
