Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Hilo. Across Hawaii, 53 of the 87 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 17 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Best decision I ever made for my home! I had Solar Saint install solar panels on my house 6 months ago and I'm so happy with everything... they made it so easy. The sales guy was honest and he explained everything in simple terms and answered all my questions. The price was fair and way better than the other companies I talked to. The installation team came right on time and worked super hard. They were clean and finished in just one day. My electric bill went from $180 a month to only $15! I'm saving so much money already. The panels work perfectly even on cloudy days. When I had a small ques

I had Solar Saint install my original solar system a few years ago and I was really happy with their work back then. Casey and his team were professional, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process easy from start to finish. The system has been running great but recently I decided it was time to upgrade since we added a few new appliances and I wanted to make sure we had enough power. I called Solar Saint again because I knew I could trust them to do a good job. They came out looked over my current setup and suggested the right upgrades to fit our needs including new panels and a

We had solar panels installed about 8 years ago by another company, but the system was starting to show its age. The inverters were failing and we had no way to monitor our energy production. After doing some research we decided to upgrade rather than replace the entire system. Casey from Solar Saint came out to assess what we had and explained our options clearly. He suggested keeping our existing panels since they were still in good condition and focusing on upgrading the inverters and adding a monitoring system. This approach saved us thousands compared to a complete replacement. The new mi

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“incentives, equipment warranties, and financing options makes solar upgrades an attractive…”

  • Warranty

“monitoring, maintenance support, and warranty service to keep your Hilo solar…”

  • Licensed

“Technical Expertise Our team includes licensed electricians and certified solar…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under insulation.
  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
