    Stay away from this business, they are no good. We had them install a solar system with the intent that they would get it permitted later. When we called them back to get a permit, they ghosted us and just avoided working with us all together so we ended up having to hire another electrician to retrofit our solar system, so it can be properly permitted. Turns out we have to rip out a chunk of it and replace it. They are terrible and overpriced. Find a good licensed electrician to install your system and buy the equipment yourself from equipment only dealers and you will save yourself a lot of

    Unfortunately, I bought 4 batteries for my solar system from Kawika and Jason installed them on August 9th, 2021 with a three year warranty. After only 2 years, they were no longer usable and I had to buy a lithium battery from another company, as Ultimate Off-Grid Solar Hawaii would NOT abide by their warranty. I tried multiple calls, and no one wanted to help me and kept giving me the run around. I would not recommend buying from this place, as their integrity is compromised. It's very sad and I gave them months to try and remedy this, and kept getting silence as a response. So if you want s

    Purchased a 31k set and install and provided electric bill for sizing. Despite asking twice they assured it would be enough. Now we still have 300 electric bills and out the money since we cant get through the most expensive part of the night using solar.

    Always the best prices on solar panels on Big Island. Also, the free, expert advice is priceless. Kawika is never too busy to listen to our story and always makes time to thoroughly answer our questions.

    I needed some help, repairing a solar powered gate, and was extremely happy with the parts and knowledge Jason at ultimate off grid solar provided. He was very generous with his time answering all of my questions. he had replacement parts in stock to get me up and running same day. I would highly encourage anyone considering solar power to try these folks.
