    Great Sales Pitch, Terrible Follow-Through — Proceed With Caution I've had two installs with Solar Solutions — my own house, and my parents'. The difference was night and day. My install: smooth, no complaints. My parents' install: a nightmare. They tried to upcharge us $6,000 for a monitoring system that was supposed to be included but didn't work. When we asked them to fix it, we got stonewalled for months. I had to get a lawyer and cite the exact contract language before they'd send someone out. It took 4 months to resolve, with weekly hour-plus phone calls just to get basic follow-through.

    Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We have been trying to get them to remove our solar panels so we can fix a leak in our roof for six weeks, and they have been completely unresponsive.

    Has been a mixed experience. Lots of delays and bit of being shuttled from person to person while trying to get it sorted out. One of my panels doesn't work still after 2 months and no sign of when it will be repaired. When I do talk to people there, they are nice, but I think they are overwhelmed and consequently not on top of things.
