Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Washington. Across District of Columbia, 12 of the 22 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 106 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

Sustainable You did an amazing job installing my solar panels. Everyone that came to my home to work were very professional. Indre was also amazing coordinating the project from start to finish.. Thanks "Sustainable You".

Indre was amazing. She was kind and easy to talk to. She explained my solar options and the possible savings in a way that was clear and easy to understand. I never felt pressured, and I really felt that she cared about helping me make the right decision for my home. I would absolutely recommend Indre and Sustainable You.

Great experience. The process was straightforward and the panels were put up in one day and once we got our permission to operate, we saw a substantial decrease in out bill.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
