Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Washington. Across District of Columbia, 9 of the 22 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 90 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I hired this roofing company expecting a professional and smooth experience, but it turned out to be quite frustrating. From the beginning, communication was inconsistent, and I often had to reach out multiple times just to get updates on the schedule. The project was delayed more than once without a clear explanation. When the crew finally arrived, they seemed rushed and not very organized. After the job was completed, I noticed debris and nails left around my yard, which was both messy and unsafe. Within a few weeks, I started seeing signs of minor leaks. Overall, I’m very disappointed with

UPDATE July 2026: After my review below, Uprise reached out immediately to apologize and provide the promised refund. Thank you! We chose Uprise based on stellar local reviews. While we got a great deal and the solar panels themselves are working perfectly, the customer service and project management fell short of our expectations. The main issue has been a lack of follow-through on a faulty consumption monitoring system we purchased as an add-on. Uprise was slow to acknowledge the problem, at times ignoring our emails or telling us to just wait and see if the issue resolved itself. They also

2026 Update: We have worked with Uprise Solar for 2 years now and they are the best! Duncan and Bryan just came through to do a free maintenance check and are a pleasure to work with: well-informed, communicative and professional. I am endlessly grateful that we found Uprise! Original review: The staff at Uprise Solar went above and beyond for every part of our solar panel project. They met with us personally in a low-pressure conversation to discuss all the aspects of the process. Our house is in the historic preservation zone on Capitol Hill (DC) and we were concerned about forfeiting a depo

Afa and his crew were very professional and worked efficiently to finish the installation before the end of the day. I’d definitely recommend using them for your solar install.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
