Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Salinas. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 3 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Salinas, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★20%

Each mark is one company we hold in Salinas whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Switch is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

  • 5★ · around March 2026 · the company replied

Solar-Switch did something that no other company had done for me…they were transparent about their prices and timelines. No gimmicks. I can finally say goodbye to PGE! I trust them.

110% recommended, they are the true experts when it comes to switching to solar, they provide all the information you need and then some they help the process be as quick and smooth as possible and are always a phone call away to answer any of my questions. Their staff is friendly and always ready to help and they are BILINGUAL ! Which came in handy when it came to having my parents switch to solar they were able to provide all the information they wanted in Spanish and answer their questions

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
