Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in Long Beach. Across California, 685 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I can’t recommend Alan and Solar Wholesale Group highly enough. They originally installed the solar system at our home over 10 years ago, and when we recently completed a major electrical service and panel upgrade, they came through for us multiple times. Even though they weren’t the primary contractor on this project, they were incredibly responsive whenever questions or unexpected issues came up. What really stood out was that, because they had installed the original system, they still had an intimate understanding of how everything was designed and were able to work collaboratively with our

I’m very pleased with my panels and powerwalls. Everything looks and works great. The team worked with me to mount the powerwalls and gateway in my desired locations when other vendors would not. They were responsive and installation was quick. Permits were taken care of and their office staff were great to work with. I’ve worked with a lot of contractors and I highly recommended Solar Wholesale Group.

“I had an amazing experience with this solar wholesale group! From start to finish, I was impressed by their professionalism and expertise. The installation was quick, clean, and hassle-free, and my system is working perfectly. I highly recommend them to anyone considering solar—top-notch service all the way!”

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“through the solar process, including financing options and getting your share of the…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
